Flat tax voted liberal act of 2003

THE ADOPTION of the flat 19 percent income tax was voted the liberal act of the year, according to the Liberal Palette 2003 report, which involves members and supporters of the FA Hayek Foundation and the civil association Liberal Youth of Slovakia.

The raising of pension premiums was deemed the most anti-liberal deed, the SITA news wire wrote.
