FRIN only producer of road barriers

FRIN, a Slovak-Italian joint venture located in the far eastern Slovak town of Medzilaborce, is the only producer of road barriers in Slovakia. The firm, whose majority owner is VSŽ Košice, produced 431 kilometers of road barriers last year, all of which it exported abroad to Italy, Germany and France. This year, FRIN, which employs 12 people, has sold 10 million Sk worth of barriers per month and is expanding its production line to include road barrier pillars together with VSŽ Lastroj.
