PETROL prices should return to a level of around Sk40 (€1) per litre. Slovnaft cut their prices by around Sk0.50 on average. Other gas stations usually follow Slovnaft's lead in prices.
The average price for a litre of petrol could soon fall to Sk40.40. Diesel remains slightly lower at a level of Sk39.90 per litre, the daily Pravda reported.
On September 19 only one-fifth of Bratislava gas stations were selling gas below the Sk40 per litre mark. That number is expected to increase by at least half following Slovnaft's price cuts.
