Politicians, ambassadors, business leaders, and media personalities will be on hand to bid in the charity auction and enjoy world-class entertainment on Saturday night beginning at 19:00, when the "grown up" portion of the weekend event takes place.

But the fun really starts on Sunday from 13:00 to 18:00, when the children take over. Rain or shine, children and parents will enjoy performances by top artists and children's ensembles, fashion shows, competitions, crafts, dancing, and singing. Art workshops, presented by local disabled children and artisans from the Centre for Folk Art Culture (ÚĽUV), Bratislava University of Performing and Drama Arts (VŠMU), and Bibiana, will give all the chance to create works of art.

Tickets for the "grown up" party are Sk1,000 and include food, drinks, and family admission to the Sunday children's events. They are available in advance at the UNICEF office, at Grosslingová 6, or from the foreign chambers of commerce until May 5. Tickets for Sunday are Sk50 apiece or Sk200 per family and can be purchased at the door.

Proceeds will benefit UNICEF projects near and far, including the 24-hour Children's Helpline, the baby-friendly hospital initiative in Slovakia, and emergency response work in Sudan.

For tickets or sponsorship opportunities, contact Danka Hašková, UNICEF Project Manager, at 0903/770-418, danka@unicef.sk.
