Gabor, a German shoemaker, opened a brand new production plant in Bánovce nad Bebravou in the late June. The plant was constructed in eight months, requiring a 250 million Sk investment. At present, it employs 165 people who produce 600 pairs of shoes daily. The plan is to increase the personnel to 600 and daily output to 4,500 pairs. The entire production will be exported. The Bánovce nad Bebravou plant is the Gabor's sixth production outlet.
