“New capacities of 500 million cubic metres in the area of Láb will contribute to bolstering Nafta’s competitiveness,” Prime Minister Iveta Radičová said, as quoted by the TASR newswire “Also the security and reliability of gas supplies for Slovakia and the central European region has been boosted significantly by this project.”

The Gajary-Báden project is set to increase the Nafta’s gas storage capacities to 2.5 billion cubic metres by 2014. New capacities are intended to increase the flexibility of access to gas supplies.
