THE SLOVAK cabinet approved the National Programme of Reforms of the Slovak Republic for 2008-2010 at its regular session on October 8.
The government is to spend about Sk74 billion (€2.5 billion) from the general budget on measures spelled out in the material, the SITA newswire wrote. This amount includes highway construction, representing over half of the overall costs.
Among other major expenditure items are measures related to introducing information technology into society, employment programmes, and science funding.
