YET another South Korean firm is coming to Slovakia. Hyundai Hysco plans to invest Sk840 million (€21.1 million) in a new plant near Žilina, Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency spokesman Ondrej Žember told the TASR news agency May 9.
Hyundai Hysco, which is a primary supplier for Korean carmaker Hyundai/KIA, plans to produce cold-rolled steel sheets in its new Slovak plant.
The construction of the plant will start in 2005 and production is expected to start in early 2007. Initially the new factory will create 60 jobs.
