“We completed projects worth a total of €259.5 million thanks to which Slovakia could create more than 1,500 new jobs,” announced the ministry, as quoted by the TASR newswire.

During the first six months of 2010, SARIO had sealed only eight projects worth €35.22 million which helped to establish about 500 new working positions.

SARIO said that the increased interest among foreign investors in establishing operations in Slovakia can also be observed in the higher number of inquiries the agency is receiving and the increasing number of presentations it has made in introducing Slovakia to foreign investors, TASR wrote.
