The non-profit organization IT v kurze is here for anyone who is looking for a career change and wants a new, promising job in IT, even with no previous IT experience. It comprehensively prepares young people for a specific job in software development through five-month training programs or longer, more comprehensive studies. Our training programs reflect the requirements of IT companies and realistically prepare graduates for employment. It is possible to study concurrently with other employment. We have been educating - supporting - employing for over 10 years.
More than 1000 successful graduates of educational programs.
At least 90% of graduates have managed to find a job in the IT sphere during or immediately after the educational program.
Moderated online education
IT v kurze education is conducted through the METIS Academy educational portal. Thanks to years of experience, IT v kurze offers a sophisticated system of moderated online education, which takes place under the guidance of experienced lecturers - experienced professionals. Students are continuously engaged in the learning process and continuous knowledge validation provides objective assessment. This way of completing assignments is close to the real working environment and the students acquire usable work habits. They learn to solve complex tasks, communicate, and present the result of their work. It is possible to study from any place that has a sufficient internet connection and at any time (except for joint webinars). Programs are conducted in Slovak or English.
Each semester is focused on the performance of a specific job position in the field of software development. Content is continuously updated according to the latest trends and adapted to the current needs of employers. Students can complete a work placement with corporate partners or receive a job offer directly from them.

1. Employing students instead of training new recruits (in standard areas but also in organisation-specific areas):
reduction of costs for new employees during periods of low labour productivity in the first months of employment (tuition fees only, excluding other costs per staff member)
quality selection of suitable candidates for the employer on the basis of their study results in a specific field or work on a real project
after being recruited to a junior position, continuing education alongside employment
2. Testing employees (to identify suitable candidates for up-skilling) with follow-up training alongside employment:
increase employee motivation and reduce employee turnover
a benefit linked to the career development of the employee, who may be obliged to pay tuition fees in the event of termination of employment during the first years
stabilization of a quality part of the employee base and building its own group of key employees with higher qualifications will contribute to the positive image of the company
3. Targeted and extensive testing, training and development of employees (advanced PC work at managerial level, software development, soft skills, German language, …)
