THE UNEMPLOYMENT rate in Slovakia in December 2004 rose by 0.5 percent month-on-month to 14.63 percent, according to the Central Labour Office (ÚPSVR).
There were a reported 342,294 unemployed people in Slovakia in December, up by 12,972 from November and down by 70,792 year-on-year, according to the TASR news agency.
