SLOVENSKÁ Sporiteľňa bank (SLSP) has made an attractive offer to the indebted city of Košice, said the city's mayor, Zdenko Trebuľa.
At a press conference on February 10, Trebuľa said that SLSP had offered to alleviate Košice's debt - Sk1.5 billion (€36.6 million) - via a loan to be repaid over 20 years at a favourable interest rate.
Košice therefore plans to talk to Dexia bank, which heads the city's syndicated loan of Sk700 million (€17.1 million), the TASR news agency wrote.
