THE BRATISLAVA office of White & Case, the New York-based global law firm, has announced that Marek Staroň, senior lawyer, has been made a partner.
In his practice, Staroň specializes in mergers and acquisitions, banking, energy and telecommunications. He graduated from Comenius University in 1995 and acquired his LLM degree from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom in 1996.
Prior to moving to Bratislava, Staroň worked for the Prague and New York offices of White & Case, where he gained considerable experience in various international commercial transactions.
Independent benchmarking publications, such as European Legal 500 and Chambers Global, recognize Marek Staroň as one of the leading lawyers in Slovakia. He has participated in a variety of high-end mergers and acquisitions, direct investments and financing transactions.
