THE ENVIRONMENT Ministry will be the busiest of Slovak ministries in transposing EU directives during the upcoming period of time. The Cabinet’s Office proposes that this ministry prepares transposition of 18 out of 37 directives of the European Parliament and the Council which were published in the Official Journal of the European Union between August 1, 2014 and January 31, 2014. The implementation of some directives has already been prepared, the SITA newswire wrote.
The ministries of transport, agriculture, health and finance have to prepare implementation of three directives each. The Justice Ministry will prepare implementation of two directives as will the Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing. The ministries of education and interior will prepare one directive each.
