DEPUTY PM for EU Integration Pál Csáky said Slovakia must still approve 20 laws before EU entry in May 2004.
He therefore proposes that the laws be discussed in a shortened legislative procedure so that they could take effect as soon as possible.
The Slovak daily Pravda wrote that the legislation includes a law on anti-discrimination, an amendment to the law on retail chains, and a law on lobbying.
