However, they have to buy the magazines in order to sell them, which makes them think in an economic way. Only those who come for the first time are given three copies for free. One seller usually sells 90 copies monthly. "The statistics show that now, substantially more magazine copies are being sold than in the beginning; in 2007, Nota Bene was the sixth most highly sold monthly, according to the ABC," Šipoš said. However, the homeless have to follow the code consisting of 12 points, including - having a license as a seller with a picture and registration number, selling only at a location allotted to him/her by the civic association Proti prúdu (Against the Stream), not being drunk, not begging or asking for more money than the official price of the magazine.
