BRATISLAVA and Trnava Regions offer the largest area of modern industrial premises for rent in Slovakia, according to a map updated by real estate advisory company Cushman & Wakefield (CW) in Slovakia. Martin Baláž of CW’s industrial real estate department said that the main site in Bratislava Region was a location on the D1 highway near the town of Senec, the SITA newswire wrote.
“We are recording a lack of modern industrial space in central Slovakia, while demand for warehouse and production space has started to rise in eastern Slovakia,” he said. “Some developers have already reacted to this increase and submitted plans to build new industrial developments. This unbalanced situation is caused mainly by the different level of infrastructure development.”
