Slovakia's total hard currency reserves were $4.852 billion as of June 4, down from $5.104 billion on May 26. The NBS reserves declined by $300 million to $2.743 billion, while reserves of the commercial banking sector saw an $80 million increase to $2.109 billion in the same period. At the end of 1996, the Slovakia's total reserves were $5.683 billion.
