SLOVKIA'S new Agriculture Minister Zsolt Simon has presented EU integration and improving agricultural competitiveness as priorities for his four-year term.

Simon, nominated to the post by the Hungarian Coalition Party (SMK), also said that Slovakia needs to improve efficiency in agricultural production, open the market for land sale and simplify the country's system of agricultural subsidies.
