New law says no to alcohol and tobacco in media

The new law on advertising became valid on September 1, forbidding the advertising of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products on television, radio, billboards and in the press. It does, however, allow alcohol or tobacco producers to sponsor various events and to provide free samples, gifts and other marketing goods.
