Since June 2012 the internet portal “Energy in Slovakia” has been providing quality online news on the Slovak energy sector in English.
Focused on energy in Slovakia
Crucial for the further development of the Slovak economy, the energy sector poses significant potential and attracts more and more attention from abroad. For the public sphere, including the EU institutions, the energy sector is a subject of a strong regulation, for the private sector it presents substantial investment opportunities.
The new webpage www.energyinslovakia.sk was launched at the end of May with the aim to cover the current developments in a language that makes it easier for the foreign institutions, investors, public professionals as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and delegations in Slovakia to follow relevant news and features.
Strong partnership
The project is coordinated by Center for European Affairs (CEA) with the financial support of Embassy of the United States in Slovakia. The quality of the content is guaranteed by the long-term expertise of the project partners - Energia.sk, online portal focused on energy issues, and EurActiv.sk which provides information on EU affairs and their Slovak context with a traditionally strong energy section.
Energy in Slovakia brings original news reports, analyses or interviews and translation of articles from the partner´s pages.
