Night guards and new menu. Slovak railway operator tests new services

The state-run railway passenger carrier ZSSK has prepared several novelties for their trains. One of them is a new, modern menu in a restaurant carriage that ZSSK is launching in collaboration with Wagon Slovakia Košice (WSK).

English breakfast or oatmeal with white yoghurt and seasonal fruits will be served. As a main dish, there is a pumpkin risotto with Parmesan cheese, beef teriyaki, fresh salad with goat cheese and Pho-Bo.

Besides the restaurant carriage, mobile service with refreshment will include new dishes, for example sushi and BBQ hotdog.

“We decided to bring to novelties to the restaurant carriage inspired by world cuisine,” said Alžbeta Gajdošová Keruľová, spokesperson of WGS, as quoted by the SITA newswire.
