Osram asks for Sk72 million tax break

LIGHTING equipment producer Osram Slovakia, based in Nové Zámky, is asking the government for a corporate income tax break of Sk72 million (€1.8 million) to enlarge its production plant.

According to the private news agency SITA, the overall cost of the planned investment, which the company launched in January 2003, will reach Sk380 million (€9.5 million).
