OTF Holding looks for strategic partner

Having built a strong position in the countries of the EU, the Japanese multinational company Toshiba Corporation wants to establish itself on the markets of central and eastern Europe. For this reason, Toshiba is looking at cooperation with a prospective Slovak partner, OTF Holding a.s. Nizný, a producer of television sets. Toshiba and OTF Holding representatives recently held introductory discussions on this subject. They discussed different forms of cooperation and agreed that more detailed talks would take place during the visit of the Japanese side to OTF, which will likely take place next year. OTF, which has been searching for a strategic partner, has also held discussions with companies like Sumimoto Corporation and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd.
