SLOVAK legislators started discussing the 2005 budget December 3. The law is expected to dominate the December session, the TASR news agency wrote.
The budget discussions may take days or even weeks. The ruling coalition, which does not have enough votes to push through the cabinet-proposed budget by itself, will have to rely on support from independent MPs.
Speaker of Parliament Pavol Hrušovský said he hoped the final vote on the budget would take place by December 10.
