Between July 3-10, the average prices of petrol and diesel rose by 86 hellers and 29 hellers, respectively, the Slovak Statistics Office announced on July 16.
For the same period, both 91-octane and 95-octane petrol reached Sk42.44 (€1.09) per litre. Meanwhile, 98-octane petrol rose by 26 hellers to stand at Sk45.01 per litre, while the average price of diesel rose to Sk41.65 per litre. The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), however, fell by 8 hellers to stand at Sk21.75 per litre. In the month of June, average petrol prices rose by 1.98 percent, while the price of diesel fell by 1.73 percent.
