The expert commission for the privatization of state telecom monopoly Slovenské Telekomunikácie (ST) met for the first time at the Telecom Ministry in Bratislava on June 22, and agreed to have a privatisation plan for ST ready by the end of July. Originally, the tender to find a buyer for a 34-49% stake in ST was to have been announced on July 1.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of Deutsche Bank, brokerage house Slávia Capital, amd law firms Wood & Comp and White & Case, who form the advisory consortium for the sale, as well as the independent group Transparency International.
