THE CITY of Poprad wants to build a supplier park in the 10.2-hectare Poprad-Matejovce area and is asking the Economy Ministry for financial support.
The Slovak daily SME wrote that the Poprad officials wanted the industrial zone to become a strategic park for the Hyundai-Kia investment in the nearby city of Žilina.
The daily wrote that Poprad already had two investors from the machinery and automotive industries interested in entering the park, and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency has held talks with two additional firms.
