SLOVAKIA’s state postal service, Slovenská Pošta, has developed a new web application through which anyone can order a postage stamp accompanied with their photograph or any other image they choose.
“Customers can use these stamps when sending letters or a package [posted from Slovakia],” said Andrea Pivarčiová of Slovenská Pošta, as quoted by the TASR newswire.
Customers can order a sheet of eight stamps with an attached ‘coupon’ that can be personalised in any way with photographs or graphics.
The stamp design service is available to anyone who uses Slovak postage stamps and Slovenská Pošta’s website has an English version for ordering at: www.pofis.sk/en/my-stamp.
