PwC makes Sk557 million on SE sale

THE NATIONAL Property Fund (FNM) and the Economy Ministry recently approved a Sk557.5 million (€14.7 million) fee for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which advised the government on the privatisation of power producer Slovenské elektrárne (SE). The fee lowers the state's income from the sale to Sk31.4 billion, the Pravda daily wrote.

PwC expressed satisfaction with the size of the fee. "The reward is proportional to the engagement of not a small team of 30 people, who worked on the privatisation for five years," Peter Mitka from PwC said.
