This ranking of foundations and other non-profit organisations is based on the amount they received in 2011 from tax assignments from corporations and individuals.
The Hospodárske Noviny financial daily, which prepared the ranking, wrote that it shows that foundations launched by companies had the highest donations in 2011. The top ten ranked by annual income in 2011 were:
1. Nadácia SPP - €2.6 million.
2. Nadácia Slovenská Sporiteľňa - €1.05 million
3. Nadácia Orange - €1.03 million
4. Pontis Foundation - €1.023 million
5. Nadácia VÚB - €863,462
6. Nadácia Tatra Banka - €740,278
7. League against Cancer - €563,944
8. Nadácia Intenda €507,001
9. Dobrý Anjel - €492,546
10. Plamienok - €480,135
