V.O.D.S. of Košice, which deals with waste processing, plans to invest Sk200 million (€5.2 million) in the Kechnec industrial park, SITA news agency wrote.
"V.O.D.S. should start recycling used tyres and rubber by the end of this year," Kechnec village Mayor Jozef Konkoly told SITA.
He added that the Košice-based investor is expected to employ 80 to 100 people in the industrial park.
