Maximum electricity price for end users will increase by 18.63 percent on average from January 2003, according to officials from Slovakia's regulatory Office for Network Industries.
At a session in late October, the regulators also decided to set ceilings on the prices power producer SE can charge regional power distributors for electricity, said Office spokesperson Miroslav Ľupták.
The decision enables individual regional power distributors to elaborate on their draft tariff proposals for electricity supplies to end users.
Regional power distributors should submit these proposals to the Office for approval by the end of October or early November.
