FOLLOWING a recent increase in the number of thefts of cash machines (ATMs) across Slovakia, the Slovak Bank Association (SBA) has offered a reward to anyone who provides information leading to the identification of the thieves.
Anyone providing information that leads to the prosecution and successful conviction of a specific person will get a reward of €20,000.
The SBA agreed the reward with the police. People can inform the police by dialling 158 from anywhere in Slovakia.
From the beginning of this year, more than 60 ATMs have been stolen in Slovakia. At the end of November, there were around 2,330 ATMs provided by nine banks in Slovakia.
