IRISH low-cost air carrier Ryanair will extend the range of destinations it serves from Bratislava Airport at the end of June 2010, with flights to Sardinia, the SITA newswire reported.
The first flight from Bratislava to Alghero will take off on June 24. The route will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, Ryanair announced.
Ryanair is the largest carrier at Bratislava Airport, which transported 142,500 passengers in the first two months of 2010. In February alone, there were 71,000 passengers. It currently operates about 20 scheduled flights from Bratislava.
