SAMSUNG Electronics Slovakia invested Sk1 billion (€25 million) to construct and equip a new production hall that will create more than 1,000 jobs.
The company expects that the new hall's turnover will grow from last year's Sk8 billion (€199 million) to Sk65 billion (€1.6 billion) when it reaches full capacity in 2005.
The new hall will open in June and produce laser printers, satellite TV sets, plasma and LCD TV sets, and DVD recorders.
