THE SLOVAK Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) is currently working on 109 investment projects worth almost €3.3 billion, news wire TASR reported.
If all the projects are successful, a further 24,700 jobs will be created in Slovakia, said SARIO Investment Projects Department director Mária Mikušová.
She noted that most investor interest is in car production (29 projects), electronics (16 projects), and machinery and information technologies (eight projects each).
Nineteen of the investors are from Germany, 13 from the US, ten from Great Britain, and nine from Japan.
