“We would like to present Slovakia as a country suitable not only for industrial production but also for investments in research and development,” said the head of SARIO, Róbert Šimončič, as quoted by SITA.

Seminars within the project ‘Business Friendly Slovakia’ held in Germany from September 19 to September 23 were also attended by Economy Minister Juraj Miškov and representatives of foreign companies which have already established facilities in Slovakia.

During the seminars, held in the German city of Düsseldorf, Miškov explained to Japanese investors why Slovakia is a good investment destination.

“If we realise that Japan is one of the most technologically developed and one of the most sophisticated countries in the world, which still belongs to the strongest world economies, it is essential for Slovakia to improve its economic relations with Japan,” Miškov said, as quoted by SITA.
