GENERAL Director of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), Roman Kuruc, and Tadashi Yanagisawa from the Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank, signed a mutual cooperation agreement on June 24, SARIO spokesman Ondrej Žember told the TASR news wire.
"The main aim of the agreement is to facilitate the flow of foreign investment from Japan to Slovakia and vice-versa," Kuruc said. "Japanese investors are especially interested in building scientific-technical centres and plants jointly owned with Slovak companies."
The Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank is a leading Japanese bank. It currently co-operates with 95 percent of Japanese companies active in Europe.
