THE COURT-APPOINTED receiver of assets in the bankrupt air carrier SkyEurope Airlines, Ľubomír Bugan, will convene the first meeting of the airline's creditors in Bratislava on March 1, the SITA newswire reported.
The meeting of creditors – who include former employees, travellers and business partners of the air carrier – with claims on the bankrupt company, will start at 10:00. Participants will familiarise themselves with a report on the trustee's activities and the progress of bankruptcy proceedings, elect a creditors' committee and decide whether to replace the receiver.
The bankruptcy trustee has already drawn up a list of creditors. Almost 4,000 of them have lodged approximately 8,400 claims.
