Shipyard Slovenské Lodenice Komárno Bratislava (SLKB) signed a contract for the production of three barges with the firm Ganz Danubius Trading Co. Ltd of Budapest (GDT), head of the PR Department Miroslav Bednár said June 27.
The delivery deadline for the three barges is November-December this year.
The firm, which took on part of the now-bankrupt SLK shipbuilder, has said that it wants to secure more orders and hire back former SLK staff at the shipyard.
