SLOVAK firms could participate in the construction of a gas pipeline connecting Iran and Europe, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Ahani said during a visit to Bratislava.
At a meeting with the Slovak parliament's foreign affairs committee chairman, Ján Figeľ, Ahani also offered Slovakia the possibility for trilateral cooperation in the recovery of post-war Iraq.
Ahani thanked Slovakia for its aid to the ancient Iranian city of Bam, struck by an earthquake on December 26.
