Based on the US National Technology Readiness Survey SPAM Report survey, people spend 1.4 minutes per day on average deleting spam. Annually this mounts up to almost six hours. In Slovakia there are over 2.4 million in employment and of these about 33 percent use the internet at work.

“When the average hourly wage is €4.50, then the aggregate loss for companies and organisations in Slovakia climbs to over €20 million,” Slovanet reported, adding that networks operators and mail servers also incur high costs linked to spam.
