An audit by the Supreme Control Office watchdog has ruled that former head of gas utility SPP Pavol Kinčeš obtained a luxurious flat in Bratislava illegally, registering as his private property that which had been bought with state money.
Kinčeš was not included on the SPP board when it was transformed into a joint stock company recently. The board, without Kinčeš, had been proposed Economy Minister Ľubomír Harach, who said the then-SPP head's exclusion from the new management had been the best solution to the scandal.
