The Swedish Chamber of Commerce opened an office in Slovakia on April 8 to facilitate the exchange of information and business contacts between Slovak and Swedish firms. Established by 13 native companies - among them supranational giants like Ericsson, Husqvarna, IKEA and Mölnlycke - nine other firms joined the chamber its inception. The Swedish Chamber joins the recently-opened Netherlands Chamber of Commerce and several other countries' business chambers that have opened in Slovakia since its independence in 1993.
