SEVENTEEN entities returned questionnaires by April 15 to the Telecommunications Office (TÚ) relating to the possible entry of a third mobile operator to the Slovak market.
"Among the entities that returned the questionnaire are Slovak and foreign telecom companies, consultancy firms, experts and a Slovak journalist," said TÚ spokesman Roman Vavro.
The Office believes the questionnaires will give it more solid foundations for announcing a public tender to select a third operator.
Currently, Slovakia has two mobile operators - T-Mobile Slovensko and Orange Slovensko.
