THE TELECOMMUNICA-TION Office (TÚ) has given duties to Slovak Telecom (ST) as a major operator on the market.
Based on these duties, ST will be prohibited from bundling fixed-line services, offered to homes or businesses, with other services, such as broadband Internet access. According to the TÚ spokesman Roman Vavro, the company is also not permitted to make purchasing extra services as a condition for providing a fixed-line service, the SITA news agency reported.
