Two-month state budget report

SLOVAKIA's state budget deficit for the first two months of this year was Sk4.4 billion (€108.3 million), which is 5.6 percent of the figure planned for the whole year, the private news agency SITA reported.

The total revenues of the state budget reached Sk36.4 billion (€896.2 million), which is 15.7 percent of the annual projection. Sk32.6 billion (€802.6 million) was collected in taxes, while non-tax revenues were Sk3.8 billion (€93.56 million) The expenditures were Sk40.8 billion (€1 billion), 13.1 percent of the 2004 projection. The 2004 state budget plans revenues worth Sk232 billion (€5.7 billion) and expenditures that reach Sk10.5 billion (€258.5 million. The planned state budget deficit is Sk78.5 billion (€1.9 billion).
