The private Medissimo Hospital and Clinic has now entered its third year serving patients.
This bold greenfield project to provide comprehensive health care offers a new alternative to the Slovak healthcare system. The Department of Radiology – the pride of the hospital – is equipped with fully computerized equipment. Outpatient surgery as a priority
In the coming period the main focus of the Medissimo Hospital's management will be to raise its profile as a top outpatient surgery. This kind of surgery (and surgical examination), with the minimum amount of time spent in hospital, is in high demand.

We have recently begun to perform unique laparoscopic surgery using microsurgical instruments introduced through a single incision, a technique known as SILS, in gall-bladder operations, for appendicitis, for hernia operations, in gynaecological surgery, for biopsies and in reviews of the abdominal cavity. More than six months ago we began performing implantations of pacemakers.
Another pillar for the future is the development of our Diagnostic and Therapeutic Centre, which for clients means a comprehensive assessment of their health status and medical treatment requirements can be performed during a short-term hospital stay.
