VÚB to penetrate the Ukraine

Všeobecná úverova banka (VÚB) has expressed interest in penetrating foreign markets "in a prudent manner," said a spokesperson for the bank, which includes moving beyond major European capital markets. In Kiev, Ukraine, VÚB has established a relationship with Prominvest Bank, which holds a similar position in the Ukrainian commercial banking sector as VÚB in Slovakia.
